This is a sample page. It’s different from blog posts because it stays in one place and (for most themes) appears in your site navigation. Most people start with a Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, or an “About Us” page to introduce themselves to potential site visitors. For example, it might say:
Hi there! By day I’m a bike messenger, by night an aspiring actor, and this is my website. I live in Berlin, have a great dog named Jack, and I like Piña Coladas, but not getting caught in the rain (without an umbrella).
…or something like this:
XYZ Company was founded in 1971 and has been providing quality products to the public ever since. Located in a small city, the company employs over 2,000 people and supports the city’s residents in many ways.
As a new WordPress user, you should go to your dashboard to delete this page and create new pages and posts for your website. Have fun!
